Ensure the optimal customer perception of Airbus product relative to the competitor as a major necessary and decisive step for sales campaign success, relating to the employee’s particular field of expertise and responsibility.
·Support the marketing objectives of the Customer Affairs Directorate
·Responsible for the Marketing activities on campaigns taking place in an Airbus Commercial Business Unit
·Supervise and drive the campaigns of the Business Unit under his/her responsibility
·Develop and share an in-depth knowledge of his/her region’s aviation market and trends
·Responsible for coaching Airline Marketing Senior Analysts and Managers as required
·Responsible for the content and timely preparation of Monthly Marketing Overviews
·Contribute to the achievement of the yearly commercial targets as defined and detailed at the Directorate Symposia, in terms of sales, market share, and product, market and customer-specific goals
·On the jobholder’s region/market, supervise all marketing activities, monitor campaigns developed by Senior Analysts and Marketing Managers and obtain a constant understanding of market requirements
·Act as focal point for Sales VP of his/her region to develop and co-ordinate overall campaign strategy and direction
·Motivate, coordinate and support multidisciplinary teams to deliver objectives
·Provide thought-leadership in creating concepts and developing documents that demonstrate Airbus’s superiority in realizing customer’s needs
·Fill in, with the help of the concerned Senior Analysts and Managers the Monthly Marketing Overview
Internal feedback and reporting
·Maintain systematic feedback to the Senior Airline Marketing Director
·Write or contribute to required internal reports: Visit reports after each visit, Marketing Rationales for the relevant Corporate Strategic and Priority campaigns, Campaign Feedbacks.
·Contribute to Airbus product strategy development through market feedback as well as the Marketing surveys about market and product trends and requirements
·Comprehensive marketing strategy on campaign and, when applicable, regional level translating into convincing marketing analysis, argumentation, and presentations influencing a customer’s aircraft evaluation and purchasing decision
·Effective interaction between Marketing and Sales teams on campaign and, when applicable, regional level to maximize Airbus chances in sales campaigns
- Feedback, knowledge-sharing and documents on market trends or a subject/area of expertise
·Feedback and analysis contributing to establishing market needs regarding future product development, contributing to Airbus product strategy
