We are looking for an experienced global marketing leader for the position of Chief Marketing Officer to lead Shippeo’s marketing team as part of our global growth strategy. The role will be based in one of our European offices in Paris, Amsterdam, or Düsseldorf (with possibility of full remote).
As Chief Marketing Officer, your objective will be to design and execute the marketing activities to contribute to Shippeo’s market awareness and to the growth of our business.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, our CMO will lead the following functions for Shippeo globally:
- Lead and build a high performing, highly collaborative marketing team and inspire them across all disciplines including Demand Generation and Product Marketing
- Define the marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategic and growth objectives
- Manage all aspects of marketing planning, budgeting, metrics and reporting
- Identify scaled SaaS marketing best practices to land key messages and increase market penetration of Shippeo’s solutions
- Utilize critical market and competitive research to segment and define target markets, refine and improve the product value proposition, and implement the best market-penetration strategy
- Lead and drive marketing communication, ensure clear and powerful messages about the products, brand, and value proposition to each market segment
- Liaise with other departments (especially Sales and Product) to guide a unified go-to-market approach that meets market demands
- Be the first point of contact with market Analysts
You Are Our Next Shippian If You Have
- 10+ years’ experience in SaaS B2B marketing, specifically in a senior leadership role with responsibility for dramatically increasing customer acquisition for a fast-growing company
- Strategic thinker with proven experience scaling a team that has executed world class SaaS marketing best practices
- Deep experience in driving SaaS marketing metrics and results
- Clear and effective communication skills and experience in a collaborative, transparent and hands-on environment
- Proven track record in fast-paced, high growth SaaS environments
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with other departments and team members to facilitate action
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills will help you become Shippeo’s evangelist at events and spokesperson towards Analysts, Consulting Companies and Partners
- Full professional proficiency in English (French is nice to have but not mandatory)
