Role Summary

The Digital Junior Marketing EMEA Team designs and implements digital campaigns as part of the integrated multichannel communication programs to deliver outstanding customer experiences and strengthen the Boston Scientific brands. The team defines digital strategies, manages digital media as well as production and owns digital analytics.

The Digital Marketing Junior Specialist EMEA reports to the Digital Marketing Manager and joins a passionate, collaborative, and creative team.

Main Responsibilities

  • In line with Boston Scientific’s digital strategy and in collaboration with key partners in EMEA and Global Digital Marketing, define and implement digital campaigns with clear deliverables, milestones, accountabilities, and measures of success that are needed to accomplish business objectives of the division.
  • Ensure compliance of all digital initiatives with Boston Scientific’s digital ecosystem and act as ambassador of Boston Scientific’s digital strategy.
  • Manage digital media (websites, organic and paid search, email, social media, display, retargeting, communities), conversion, and engagement.
  • Closely collaborate with digital production resources and drive effective planning, prioritization, and project management.
  • Define and track digital KPIs and report results through compelling storytelling and visualization; use qualitative and quantitative data to drive continuous UX enhancements.
  • Manage digital vendors, in compliance with Boston Scientific policies.
  • Demonstrate successful collaboration with key partners in EMEA and in Global Digital Marketing and drive excellence in creating synergies, cross-fertilization, and continuous improvement.

Requirements and Competencies

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experiences in Digital Marketing and Communications (B2B or B2C).
  • Based in HUB location (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK).
  • Proficiency level of English (any additional European language is a plus).
  • Understanding of marketing technologies such as;
  • Marketing Automation applications (such as Marketing Cloud)
  • Content Management Systems
  • Digital Asset Management
  • Project Management Systems
  • Demonstrate organizational skills competencies by developing, monitoring and proactively managing project plans, budgets, resources (including external vendors), and timelines to ensure goals

are achieved and deadlines meet. * Develop solutions for overcoming risks to ensure project success and recognize the need to escalate issues when proposed solutions are not producing desired results.

  • To deliver a seamless customer experience, drive excellence in channel mix and integration by recommending preferred channels and developing personalization and customization approaches.
  • Collect and utilize customer data, understanding and insights to build a picture of customer needs, motivations and preferences that trigger behaviors and decisions to shape and deliver the best possible customer experience.
  • Proven analytical skills in reviewing digital data collected and learn from insights generated
  • Demonstrate innovative advancement by generating new ideas, methods, and solutions. Continuously use imagination, creativity and critical thinking to solve problems. Seek new approaches, ways of working and innovations to improve the customer experience and further differentiate Boston Scientific.
  • Drive excellence in business partnerships by building and broadening strategic relationships with stakeholders and key influencers; facilitate networking of team members; bring together diverse perspectives to improve results.
  • Use storytelling techniques to drive effective communication tailored to the specific needs of each target audience.
