As part of the Global HR team, you take the lead on the People Development agenda in close collaboration with the organization to help build the skills necessary to future-proof the LEMAN business. At LEMAN we are on an exciting growth journey with increasing focus on development of our people. For the right candidate this position will be an excellent opportunity to utilize your strong L&D toolbox and get hands-on in developing our dedicated employees and leaders. You will design and deliver impactful learning solutions that mirror critical business capabilities at a global scale.

You will be reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and be part of and work closely together with a dedicated HR team that operates in a matrix across seven countries. LEMAN employs app 800 employees.

What your job is about

You can look forward to playing a key role in people development that will enable future business success for LEMAN. All our learning initiatives need to have a clear business purpose, and it will be your responsibility to ensure that learning initiatives have positive measurable business outcomes.

As the people development agenda in LEMAN is extremely important, the position will give you a lot of exposure to multiple stakeholders within the global LEMAN organization.

Your key responsibilities

💉 Develop and implement the L&D plan and programmes as an integrated part of our People strategy – in close collaboration with the CHRO, HR Directors and Senior Management

💉 Designing e-learning courses, career plans, workshops and more

💉 Follow up on and ensure full benefit of our newly established global First Line Excellence programme in close collaboration with HR Directors and Management

💉 Design and deliver virtual, blended and in-person learning solutions across a wide range of personal and professional development topics (i.e., act as a coach and sparring partner in developing needed business and personal skills. Guide employees and leaders in implementing their Individual Development Plan, project management, change management and behavioural design, performance management, cultural change, diversity & inclusion, building strong talent and succession pipeline, team development, establish and co-facilitate Leadership Forums, etc.)

💉 Competency gap analysis and upskilling to be able to meet the future business needs

💉 Further develop our Cornerstone on Demand (CSOD) Learning module to become a well- used and practical e-learning platform for all employees

💉 Drive cultural and value-based change focusing on the LEMAN Core values and Leadership competencies, e.g. facilitate, guide and help managers in implementing Engagement survey Action Plans in close collaboration with HRD’s and Management

💉 Support expatriation/mobility assignments between LEMAN countries as part of people – and business development

💉 Lead, source and drive the global Trainee (post apprentice) and Graduate programmes

💉 Help managers develop their team members through career pathing and drive our future career clarification programme. Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths and consultation with managers

💉 Measure and report on how effectively the learning solutions have been transferred to the participants in the learning initiatives and programmes

💉 Support the facilitation and delivery of the leadership programmes

💉 People Learning sparring partner at a global scale

💉 Drive brand values and philosophy through all training and development activities and ensure branding internally and externally

💉 Maintain budgets and relationships with vendors and consultants

💉 Keep abreast of training trends, developments, and best practices – and ensure alignment across global LEMAN, as we work as #oneLEMAN in an informal environment.

About you

You are an ambitious, dynamic, creative, independent, and curious person with the capacity to execute and collaborate – and you have excellent written and oral communication skills.

You have at least 5+ years of People Development and general L&D experience, preferably from a large global company.

In previous roles, you have utilized your curious mind and creative skills to design and develop impactful learning solutions, applying various learning methods.

It is imperative that you have a strong business acumen mindset, understand the business objectives, and have a pragmatic approach when designing learning solutions.

As a person, you are a ‘people’s person’ and have a strong drive and naturally takes lead, when it comes to developing high impact learning solutions.At the same time, you acknowledge the value of bringing a collaborative approach into the team.

You thrive in an environment where you need to manage multiple situations at once and stay on top of your tasks even though the pace may be high and the deadlines short. You are good at planning and organizing and take pride in delivering high quality solutions on time.

You hold a MSc in L&D Management, Psychology or similar, you are certified in various development tools and approaches, and you are an experienced coach. You are MS Office savvy and proficient in making creative and to the point presentations.

You are fluent in English and feel comfortable with digital tools, as various learning offerings will be delivered online via our HRIS system Cornerstone on Demand (CSOD). Experience with CSOD is an advantage.
