My name is Margus Pärnsalu, and I am heading the newly established CRM & Partner Functions Department within Telia IT. I am excited about the change journey we have embarked on, and as we continue forward, we are now going to recruit a Lead IT Architect, who will be leading target architecture topics in the domain.
Your next opportunity?
As Lead IT Architect in department your main objective is to lead and design the target architecture on principle and solution level working together with Architects from teams and from Enterprise Architecture unit. Main focus areas would be related to CRM, Case Management, Attended Channel solutions, Payment as a Service, Invoicing.
Lead IT Architect is a member of the CRM & Partner Functions management team reporting to Head of CRM & Partner Functions.
Furthermore, you will be:
Responsible in identifying target solutions, platforms and tools for the IT area in cooperation with architects and teams.
Driving consolidation of tools and platforms across the Telia company is key to achieve efficiency and future evolution of this area. The Lead IT Architect will be accountable to drive consolidation in strong cooperation and alignment with the different stakeholders.
Coordinate the LCM of the applications and services in scope securing sunset of legacy applications and evolution of the target systems in strong cooperation with IT or Business areas and Enterprise Architecture team.
Cooperation with business and IT units to identify and understand requirements so those can be translated into architecture solutions.
Document and model the architecture solutions and lead by example for other area related architects.
Promote the common solutions, platforms, tools in IT and Business.
Your experience:
IT experience in the areas relevant for the position
IT Architecture and/or Software development in different levels
Development experience
Documenting and modelling IT Architecture
Understanding of IT Service or Capability context
Knowledge about DevOps and agile way of working
You have excellent skills both in written and spoken English
Ability to manage complex environments and proactively respond to issues in an innovative yet structured approach and integrity
Understanding largescale IT
University degree or equivalent (bachelor as minimum)
You will have extra points if you have:
Strong knowledge in modern IT architecture and development topics
Leadership experience as Lead Architect or Technology Evangelist
Experience in designing and building solutions supporting multiple business or IT areas.
Solid work experience from international environment
Good understanding of Telecom technologies
