Program Management Consultant

It takes something special to drive the development and implementation of new and exciting products and services. That’s a job in our Digital Seller Experience Program Management team. The team works closely with engineering, sales operations, product managers, cross product leads, PRE and other technical support groups in cross-functional teams. Together, they manage the lifecycle of highly complex, high risk projects – from inception to go to market.

What you’ll achieve

The responsibilities of this position include leading the product teams and execution of cross-functional programs throughout the lifecycle of products. This includes developing program goals that support the business objectives and developing and executing strategies and plans to meet those goals. Identifying and implementing process improvements and assisting in the integration of complex business factors to develop and implement long-term strategic planning objectives is required.

You will:

  • Lead cross-functional product teams and drive execution across all product development functions (including: Seller Product Discovery, Seller Configuration, Seller Collaboration and other functional areas)
  • Prepare and present clear, concise program updates and critical phase exit deliverables to Senior Management
  • Establish program schedules and identify key risk mitigation plans and manage major risks and issues through effective contingency plans and proper escalations
  • Lead and document core team meetings and required single subject working sessions
  • Lead the Core team to deliver the program / product on time, at the desired quality level and the product roll out / ownership plan
  • Manage and drive the creation, review and approval of Product Requirements Documents and Program and Go-To-Market plans
  • Analyze, track performance and progress against Program Plan goals and make necessary corrections to achieve all bounding box goals

Essential Requirements

  • 12 to 15 years of experience managing large, complex technology projects and program implementations
  • Advanced proficiency in Sales tools experience with programs and products launched from 0 to 1
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills to be able to influence and interact with confidence and credibility at all levels within Dell Technologies
  • Experience in program management including planning and senior management interface and influencing
  • Ability to listen, prioritize and resolve issues to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently on complex tasks and to work effectively within a geographically dispersed team
  • Experience in building effective, high performance core product design teams and providing ongoing performance feedback to functional management
  • Ability to manage and collaborate cross functional teams to define the product/solution definition and requirement

You Will

  • Lead in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment with cross-functional teams and business groups
  • Effectively allocate and manages costs and investments for technology and resources, across the program
  • Inform, manage, report and practice mitigation/avoidance/acceptance of dependency and impact management via a consistent program approach and communications
  • Ensure quality service and operational performance
  • Develop common-sense solutions to complex business problems through in-depth assessment, coordination and collaboration with key decision makers

  • Ability to listen, prioritize and resolve issues to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently on complex tasks and to work effectively within a geographically dispersed team
  • Experience in building effective, high performance core product design teams and providing ongoing performance feedback to functional management
  • Ability to manage and collaborate cross functional teams to define the product/solution definition and requirements
