Then join our team in Center of Excellence focusing on our pane/glass production facilities. Here, you will step into a key role where you support and collaborate with our main factories and global stakeholders in production, product development and supply as you establish and drive projects to develop and implement new products, technology, and manufacturing processes to ensure business continuity, production capacity and efficiency.

Your challenges

Based at our factory in Brædstrup, you will – as our new Project Manager – join a dedicated team supporting our pane/glass production facilities. Through continuous dialogues with the factories, internal stakeholders across multiple global functions and relevant suppliers, you uncover and drive the actions needed for timely implementation of new products and equipment at our production facilities to match the needs our future product launches and alterations. You are practically the link between development and the factories, and your key job is to use your understanding of production, flow, automation, and digitization combined with your solid project management skills to ensure a smooth, high quality and on-time implementation of new or updated products and equipment.

Spending a great deal of your time on the floor alongside your colleagues in production, you devote your time to:

  • Getting an understanding of the production flow
  • Identifying improvements to existing equipment and present potential savings
  • Ongoing project management – performing daily leadership and communication in and around the project to ensure timely project delivery
  • Scope and plan activities based on agreed high level deliverables in the projects
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops securing that the objectives are met
  • Manage a diverse team of specialists from own team, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders from Development, Supply, Production/factories, and external suppliers
  • Scope and decide on solution and delivery in close collaboration with suppliers

Since you will be working on projects at our factories in Europe, a certain amount of travelling must be expected – approx. 20-40 days per year.

Your qualifications

You have an educational background within a relevant technical area, and we expect that you bring several years of experience driving multiple projects of different size and complexity – preferably from a production environment.

To be successful, you must be able to:

  • Create visibility of activities and risks while motivating the project team to follow plans and respect deliverables and milestones
  • Plan and manage all areas of the project (schedule, budget, team, quality, risks, communication, stakeholders, etc.) in advance – and re-plan when needed
  • Manage execution of the project plan using relevant project management tools
  • Ensure scenario-based planning, timely mitigation, and escalating critical issues to project quality, delivery, and cost
  • Ensure buy-in from key stakeholders – and alignment of expectations
  • Work analytically and data driven to improve how we do things
  • Speak and write English and Danish at a professional level, and it is a plus if you master German too

As a person, you are proactive with a can-do attitude and an energy that inspires. You take the lead and motivate the whole project team on a day-to-day basis. You are a strong communicator with natural skills of building working relationships which enables you to work across the organization and operate in a matrix organization. Being used to having multiple contact points internally and externally and with your accommodating personality, you excel at teamwork and managing your stakeholders – even in situations with opposing interests.

You must be open towards a certain amount of international travelling.
