Business Technology drives digitalization at Fortum, enabling smart solutions for customers, improved asset and trading productivity, and new data driven business models. The organization brings together technical and digital competences and solutions to help optimize Fortum’s entire value chain, create excellent customer experiences and drive new sources of revenue.
You will play a pivotal role in building up newly established recruitment solutions for our Business Technology team in line with Fortum’s global talent acquisition & employer branding strategy. You will be working closely aligned with our talent acquisition lead and the employer branding team, to deliver amazing candidate experience and draw KPIs-based decisions to further develop our talent acquisition strategy. Ideally you’re located either in Espoo (Finland) or Solna (Sweden).
You will advise our internal Business Technology stakeholders consisting of hiring managers and people partners on the right sourcing channel and how to attract, select and retain diverse talents for Fortum within a highly competitive global market. Your sound talent acquisition background and way of working in establishing talent pools enables our global Business Technology division to attract the right candidates supporting our successful growth strategy. You are experienced in building diverse candidate pipelines and pools, and are familiar with multi-channel sourcing of best tech talents e.g. on LinkedIn.
To succeed in this new role, you are passionate to find the best talents ensuring great candidate experience. You are experienced in different areas of expertise ranging from AI, Software Development, Cloud to Engineering, value a well-structured recruitment process and are passionate about building reliable networks. In addition, you’re experienced in conducting candidate interviews on different levels utilizing experienced multi-method interview techniques. As you always see the person behind every application you inspire people and thus win external talents as candidates.

As a Talent Acquisition Manager
– You ideally have profound working experience as independent inhouse IT/Tech recruiter or within an agency and are equipped with a proven track record in sourcing and attracting digital talents in a fast-paced international environment
– You have experience in change management in terms of implementing talent acquisition solutions and ways of working
– You posses proven stakeholder management and Ability to manage varying role types at any one time and prioritize accordingly
– You have successfully supported clients and customers by identifying and attracting digital natives and are familiar with using common IT/Tech recruiter tools and sourcing techniques
– You engage with different stakeholders in English naturally, inspire candidates and understand complex business context
– Additional languages such as Swedish, Finnish or Polish are beneficial.
– You have experience in innovative sourcing techniques and tools to identify, nurture, and hire passive talents
