What will I be doing? As Marketing &Communications Manager, w ith the hotel’s strong brandpresence and reputation in the global market, this seniormanagement position will play an essential role in developing andimplementing the annual PR and marketing plan, driving keyobjectives, current initiatives and leading relevant activitiesrelating to the hotel. The role will be responsible for directingthe hotel’s PR and marketing team, driving results andensuring the department performs an integral role in bringingtogether all function areas to ensure commercial targets areheightened. KEY SUCCESS FACTORS: 1. Lead and direct the overallhotel PR and marketing function and be the “PR andmarketing hub” to align all key functions such as,regional marketing, regional communications, revenue management,sales, finance, hotel operations and F&B as well ase-Commerce 2. Develop and implement an annual bespoke marketing andPR plan by segment in line with budget requirements to ensure thehotel meets their revenue targets 3. Ensure effective PR andmarketing strategies are in place, with a focus on driving brandawareness, building key media relations and keeping ahead ofevolving market trends 4. Responsible for departmental budgetsensuring tight cost control and operational effectiveness 5. Driveall brand, media and customer partnerships and maximize allopportunities for revenue generating and non-revenue generatingactivities 6. Strong network with localmedia.
