Job responsibilities
- Lead the entire demand team across the different business units (ride-hailing, food, etc.) and channels (performance marketing, social, comms etc.)
- Own complete demand planning and calendar management with the team, keeping a cross vertical lense
- Coordinate the campaigns road map and set priorities based on the business goals and market needs
- Develop and manage marketing plans and strategies aligned with the objectives of each different business unit
- Build a demand generating strategy supporting the awareness, acquisition and retention of users
- Leverage marketing automation and lead management to streamline, automate and measure all marketing tasks and workflows
- Manage the spend and performance of all online and offline campaigns for different segments and business units within the user’s funnel
- Own and monitor demand KPIs across the different business units
- Measure, analyze and report campaign performance
- Be the core point relationship owner with the commercial managers of each business unit
- Work closely with other involved departments and teams to build cross-functional cohesion
- Create personas tied to specific user needs and preferences
- Develop a deep understanding of customers, products, and users’ journey
- Work closely with key stakeholders in the company to understand the market and customer challenges in order to identify and implement innovative solutions for the market
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders on product features and act as the main point of contact for any inquiries
Requirements
- 8-10 years of marketing experience, start up experience is preferred
- UAE market knowledge
- Leadership skills in managing the demand team
- People management and relationship building with key internal stakeholders
- Ability to build an overall country view while remaining knowledgeable of the details of each business unit
- Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment
- Organized individual with the ability to multitask and work with tight deadlines
- Customer centric and creative individual
- Good commercial awareness and be able to demonstrate competence in analyzing, reporting and efficiently responding to data
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Target driven and have good numerical and analytical skills with an excellent eye for detail working with qualitative and quantitative data
