Description
Oversee in the planning, execution and reconciliation of logistic organization of events whether virtual, physical, or hybrid, sales & marketing meetings and congresses. Ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints. Project manager who understands marketing and promotion techniques with fresh ideas and the organizational skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance.

Education al Site Visits in Winterthur Preparation of budgets (preliminary, working and final meeting budgets) Contract negotiations with hotels, conference centers, destination management companies, production companies, transportation companies, and other miscellaneous vendors. Manages technology vendor interaction for digital events deployment (sets up event, registration page); serves as the liaison between the customer, sales, marketing, medical education and the vendor to ensure that expectations are being met Coordinate with manager to solve project related problems.
On-site execution focused on the Customer Experience. Ensure outcome of the meetings, as well as corporate events and congresses, align to Corporate Goals & Objectives. Develop event materials, manage food & beverage (F&B), Time & Events schedules (T&E), Arrival & Departures manifests (A&D manifests), Banquet & Event Orders (BEOs), housing lists and confirmation notices, HCPs process related requirements both internal and external.
Effectively interface with a diverse group of internal and external personnel to include senior management, distributors, sales associates, customers, travel office and vendors. Manage post-event duties including invoice reconciliation, charge backs and expense analysis. Analyze the events success and prepare reports
Education /Experience requirements Minimum 7-10 years experience meeting and congress planning industry. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Degree in commercial education or commercial apprenticeship preferably in the meeting and congress industry or other commercial industry or similar or other non-US equivalent certification. Professional Experience & Special Expertise Proven experience as Event Manager Strong organizational skills, including time-management Excellent attention to detail Highly motivated and an innovative team player Customer-focused.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), flexible with sound judgment Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure Established decision making and problem solving skills
Able to multitasks, whilst planning multiple programs. Establish Project Management knowledge is advantageous Established knowledge of meeting and congress industry Networking ability, internally and externally preferred Knowledge of orthopedic industry, marketing, and medical education is advantageous. Preferable knowledge of Cvent system A team player with leadership skills
Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs, developing and delivering projects using (where appropriate) leading-edge technology. Dynamic leadership that can develop and energize multidiscipline, high-performance work teams to learn and apply new skills/techniques to business needs. Languages & Travel
Requirements Arabic and/or Turkish as a second / third language preferred. Up to 50% within the assigned region Position to be based in any country within the Emerging Markets
