About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Marketing Director, Dubai & MEASA to join Jumeirah Group. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Drive the Marketing and Digital Marketing activities – Prepare the annual Marketing Hotels plans and the annual marketing budgets.
- Lead the marketing team and drive the revenue as a team
- Proactively interact with Regional Sales and Marketing teams on development and deployment of direct channel marketing programs that support acquisition and retention tactics.
- Work directly with Regional sales & marketing colleagues to develop direct marketing initiatives that measurably impact room revenue and drive incremental revenue from business extensions including spa, retail and F&B.
- Report to the VP Brand Marketing and interact regularly with the General Managers / RVPs for regional & Dubai wide campaigns.
- Work closely with the brand marketing team to ensure support of brand performance, VSG and brand marketing strategies.
- Interact with hotel, operations and revenue support colleagues for any wider marketing opportunities.
- As a Brand champion, ensure MEASA & Dubai alignment with Jumeirah Brand Strategy; this includes bringing the Jumeirah brand to life among regional colleagues and customers alike.
- Initiate competitive and customer insight projects to help support any direct business opportunities and revenue generating, product/service innovations.
- Work with Group e-commerce and distribution team to develop regional wide innovative/profitable digital Rooms marketing strategies.
- Management of MEASA & Dubai sales & brand road show stands
- Manage regional strategic partnership marketing relationship (DTCM, VISA, MBC, third parties etc…) and working with other region to launch regional specific campaigns.
- Coordinate multi property regional seasonal offers from a creative, media and activation perspective.
- Launching of offers which drive high revenue – constant benchmark with the compset
- Support new openings in the region with marketing launch campaigns
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Marketing/Business Expert
- Minimum of 8 years hotel/regional marketing experience in a similar role.
- Strong qualifications in Digital Marketing
- Analytical focus with strong quantitative & budget management skills.
