The Technology Division has an opportunity for a Software Developer with strong data engineering and cloud skills to join the team in Philadelphia.
This hands-on strategic position provides the opportunity to deliver software solutions and will enable the right candidate to contribute significantly to the success of the business globally. The role will allow the developer to work on a variety of modern technologies built on cloud-based infrastructure.
Taking ownership of your work end to end (design, infrastructure, security, code, performance, docs, support) as well as buildingdata pipelines across technologies (Python, AWS) and formats (message, file, API, etc). Taking responsibilty for deliverables from start to finish by understanding the business case and the technology.
Your experience and technical expertise will be utilized as you impact the team by mentoring, learning and building reusable code.
The drive for innovation will be required as you contribute to a modern engineering team using CI/CD, BDD, code quality and monitoring. Additionally researching, evaluating and presenting recommendations for innovative technologies / frameworks.
Finally supporting applications across portfolio with on-call rotations and ad-hoc maintenance.
If you are comfortable working to propose a design, gather feedback from others, build it and explain how it works with strong engineering foundations with the ability to work in Python using serverless AWS (Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, etc) building data pipelines and microservices with some knowledge of the following Airflow, containers / Kubernetes, GitOps / ArgoCD and Vault.
