In This Role, You Will:
- Write code that is clean, highly maintainable and well tested
- Perform effective code reviews with your team
- Working with senior engineers to design and build growth optimisation experiments across our range of brands
- Balancing rapid iteration speed with the overall stability, security and modularity of our system in an agile teamWork on product features that millions of our users interact with
- Contribute to product and feature ideas and deliver from start to finish
- Explore new technologies and share your findings with the engineering team
- Work closely with a cross functional team of software & quality engineers, product designers and product managers
- Work in an agile environment with a “team first” mentality
Your experience
- Knowledge of Java, Java Virtual Machine (JVM), and Kotlin for distributed system and microservice creation
- Good Front End development skills with either – React, Vue or Angular
- Solid understanding of quality and TDD practices
- Experience with AWS services
- Attention to detail and an understanding of UX and UI designs
- Experience with JavaScript test frameworks such as Jasmine or Mocha
- Experience with building reusable components across multiple applications and code bases
