Business Overview
The AXIS/NEXUS Development and Support Department is responsible for all development for our Transfer Agency (Record Keeping) system. This includes both development for new functionality required by the business and development required for the maintenance of existing systems. In addition, the department is responsible for supporting all aspects of the ongoing operation of the system.
What You Will Do
As a highly technical Software Engineer Sr, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing programs using the Progress database for application enhancements based on specific business requirements. You will work closely with your team to ensure application availability and system maintenance.

Work with team members to develop and enhance application software to satisfy business requirements
Analyze requirements and their impact to the system
Complete code changes as necessary to meet requirements
Execute unit tests to ensure the accuracy of code changes
Work to support the other members of the project teams
Support the daily operation of the system
What We’re Looking For
University Degree, preferably in the field of Computer Science
3+ years of experience in IT Application Development
Expert programming experience of PROGRESS ABL, PROGRESS RDBMS, PASOE, REST Services
Some Programming experience in Java, HTML, JS and CSS
Solid experience with full life cycle of software development
Experience in the financial services or mutual funds industry is preferred
Programming knowledge of Angular is an asset
Understanding of JIRA and Confluence
