What you’ll be doing

This position of Administration Supervisor provides direct line management of the Administrative staff within the Maternal Fetal Medicine and Medical Imaging Departments with the support of the Department heads. The role includes, work allocation, workflow monitoring, staff appraisals, staff development and leave management.

There is a strong focus on providing high quality service and support to patients, clinical staff and to provide high-level administrative support to the Medical Staff in both the Maternal Fetal Medicine and Medical Imaging Departments.

Selection Criteria * Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role involving responsibility for the management of staff.

  • Demonstrated negotiation, delegation and time management skills and the ability to prioritise daily workflows personally and for staff
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office programs and clinical information systems.
  • Proven experience in problem solving and showing initiative where deadlines are involved.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and patient centred care.
