Active involvement in the origination and execution of transactions for the General Industrials coverage group (which includes Technology, Media and Telecommunications; Consumer and Retail; Industrials and Financial Sponsors). Key elements of the role include:
Analysis: Performing valuations, financial modelling, credit, capital structure and financial returns analysis
Due diligence: Conducting accounting, commercial, financial, legal and regulatory due diligence
Communications: Preparing and presenting materials such as presentations for boards of directors, internal review committees and solicitations (pitches)
Project management: Liaising and arranging meetings across client executives, advisory firms and other stakeholders to progress facets of the transaction
Qualifications
You have a track record of transaction execution experience (please attach deal sheet when applying)
You possess strong analytical and quantitative skills
You have excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task
You have excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to liaise with colleagues and clients at all levels
You have excellent PC skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, FactSet and IRESS
You have a strong and demonstrated compliance, controls and risks mindset
You can exercise good judgement working in a highly pressurised and time sensitive environment
