Position
Damvad Analytics is a consultancy with a focus on data and we are currently forming a brand new product team to develop, launch and expand our new in-house AI-as-a-service product. We are looking for an experienced and creative Full Stack Engineer to join the ride, who is eager to not only develop cool products, but also enjoy talking about them and explain how they work.
Responsibilities
Working closely with our Data Scientists and Frontend developer to develop and expand our API
Developing and operating customer-facing APIs in python. Experience with Flask, FastAPI, nginx, gunicorn/uvicorn is a plus.
Creating frontend UI components in Vue.js. Strong JavaScript knowledge is a big plus.
Building infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for our machine learning models and AI products.
Helping deploy best practice for microservices and serverless architecture in our data science team.
Structuring large amounts of unstructured data. Experience with SQL, NoSQL and Elasticsearch is a plus.
Wrapping all the above in docker containers or AWS Lambda functions, and operate the entire beast in AWS.
Besides the hard tech mentioned above you will also be part of a thriving product development team. Product development and implementing end to end solutions along side the rest of our team will be your main task. You will get to work closely with the Data Science team and help develop infrastructure. Being proactive and creativity is key, as there’s freedom for decision making and innovative solutions to complex problems.
Requirements
At least a few years of experience with executing many of the tasks mentioned above, min. 3-5 years of experience is a plus
A degree in Computer Science, Software engineering, or a closely related field
Experience with AWS and micro services is a must
Experience with JavaScript is valued highly
A good communicator with the ability to collaborate with both clients and team members
Good linguistics (Fluently speaking and writing English, as well as a Scandinavian language) and inter-cultural skills
