Work you’ll do

The Healthcare consultant will assist the United Nations Account in its efforts to deliver risk advisory services to the United Nations and not-for-profit organisations. The UN Account delivers risks services to ensure that United Nations agencies in Southeast Asia operate in the most efficient of ways.

Scope of work

As a Healthcare consultant, you will work on several tasks among which:

  • Assess, research, support, evaluate, and monitor United Nations projects through delivering healthcare advisory services of excellence.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Travel within Southeast Asia (SEA) when required.

  • Postgraduate degree – Master, PhD, or equivalent degrees – in development studies, anthropologies, sociology, and other relevant fields.

Work experience

  • 5 years of experience working in the social sector, with a track record of working with multiple stakeholders (including government, civil society organistions, grassroots organisations and children).
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare matters as required per UN project – e.g. malnutrition, food security, disabilities, reproductive health, etc.
  • Proven quantitative and qualitative research skills.
  • Worked with and understand the UN system (particularly WHO and UNICEF) an advantage.
  • Worked with vulnerable groups.



  • English (fluent).
  • Fluency in a second Southeast Asian language a serious advantage.
  • Fluency in a second United Nations official language an advantage.
