Our client, a Hong Kongs cultural authority delicate to hire a Learning and Participation Officer to support the Performing Arts Department. The key responsibilities fall within the following areas.

Roles and responsibilities

assisting in liaising with other departments and divisions, potential audience group, working partners and programme participants;

assisting in liaising with the Artistic teams of Performing Arts Division to deliver cross-disciplinary audience development and community engagement programmes;

supporting the programme research, delivery and evaluation;

maintain a systematic filing system of projects, including but not limited to filing of photos, videos and preparation of post-event reports;

ensuring timely delivery of high-quality programmes; and

providing administrative support for all operational aspects of Learning and Participation team

Requirements

recognised university degree preferably relevant to Performing Arts, Cultural Studies, Arts and Cultural Management, Marketing, Communications, Arts Education or equivalent;

possess 3 to 4 years working experience, relevant experience in arts and cultural field and knowledge in arts education and outreach programmes is preferred;

be knowledgeable about the performing arts scene; popular culture and social media, preferably with working experience in arts education, event management and public engagement;

have experience in maintaining a network of potential partners and audiences such as art communities, schools and education institutions;

possess knowledge of learning and participation programmes and projects;

show passion for the performing arts with strong self-motivation, strong administrative and multi-tasking skills to achieve tasks assigned; and

have good interpersonal and good oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
