The Customer Success Manager (CSM) is a key role within the Customer Success organization, helping our customers adopt, grow, and optimize on their path to becoming Akeneo advocates. The CSM also provides a direct impact on renewable revenue and a strong contribution to Akeneo’s customer-first objective.

Job Description

As a Product Marketing Associate for Enablement, you will be a key member of the Akeneo Product Marketing team – contributing to the success of the most widely used Product Information Management solution in the market. Akeneo is at the forefront of shaping and leading this market category, elevating product experience management (PXM) to the same level as customer experience management (CXM).

You will be working in a fast-paced, energetic environment to identify, deliver and manage the content and programs necessary to enable our client-facing teams to successfully position our leading PIM products for PXM and measurably grow our business. This includes developing and managing compelling internal- and external-facing content for client-facing roles, and managing and delivering insightful training and enablement sessions for everyone from new-hires to seasoned employees. You will get to know the landscape well, using intel and insight to create sales plays, battlecards and win/loss stories that guide client-facing teams to the most successful outcomes. You will also be a valued contributor to many of the other key initiatives being led by the Product Marketing team, including our market positioning, online messaging, product launches and category leadership.

In this position you will report to the Director of Product Marketing as part of a fast-growing, big-impact, strategically-critical and fun-loving Product Marketing team. What You’ll Do

Collaborate with product marketing, product management and sales leadership to identify and produce product and solution content for Akeneo employees in a client-facing role that help drive our global and regional business goals.

Continuously improve the experience for new-hires, ensuring they receive the PXM category, PIM market & ecosystem, and Akeneo product positioning knowledge needed to help them get started successfully at Akeneo.

Manage, update, govern and evangelize all product marketing-owned content on our internal sales tools portal and online learning platform, identifying any gaps and prioritizing content needs.

Update and manage content that is owned by the product marketing team.

Collaborate with sales leadership on the Akeneo sales certification program, ensuring that our story, value propositions and use cases are being leveraged and delivered effectively and consistently.

Orchestrate and contribute to Open Hour, our internal enablement webcast series.

Monitor the competitive landscape and maintain battlecards and other internal-only competitive intel and positioning materials.

Perform win/loss analysis and reporting that informs go-to-market strategies and identifies best practices for sales teams globally


What You Need to Succeed:

2-3 years experience in a product marketing, client-facing and/or marketing-related role at a SaaS-based business

Experience in PIM, CX or other eCommerce-related technology

Excellent English speaker and writer

Exceptional presentation, oral and written communication skills.

Experience enabling client-facing teams and creating effective sales tools, content and online learning.

Ability to rapidly prioritize and react to changing market dynamics.

Ability to work cross-organizationally, especially with sales, customer success, marketing, and product management.

Demonstrate upstanding character, consistent execution and commitment to upholding Akeneo’s values.

Ability to travel up to 30% of time.

A good sense of humor and a work-hard, play-hard attitude.
