Mater’s Acute Medical Ward 9A is searching for professional Registered Nurses to join the team. We have 4 positions currently available, please see below:
- Permanent full time
- Fixed term full time until 24/11/2019
- Fixed term full time until 24/11/2019
- Fixed term part time 0.84 FTE (64 hours per fortnight) until 24/11/2019
Ward 9A is a 27-bed multidisciplinary ward which cares primarily for older public patients, encompassing a diverse range of specialties including Respiratory, Endocrine, Dermatology and infectious conditions. As part of Mater Health’s recent expansion we now provide a renal dialysis service, leading to a subsequent increase in the renal inpatient service.
What you’ll be doing
We are searching for enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Nurses to continue to provide clinical expertise in a dignified and respectful manner, working closely with patients and their families to ensure a sensitive, welcoming and friendly environment at all times, whilst providing optimal patient outcomes.
Salary range: $33.73 – $43.34 (Registered Nurse Level 1) per hour plus superannuation
The successful candidates must have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
- Considerable Acute Nursing experience, preferably in a medical environment
- High level of communication skill including the ability to relate with elder patients in a dignified and respectful manner
- Post graduate qualification will be highly regarded
The successful applicants will be self-motivated, self-starter who can work collaboratively with other speciality representatives to achieve a common goal. Further, you will be committed to providing quality care and service to patients and their families.
