This is a chance to use your expertise to make a global impact. We are looking for a strategically minded Senior Marketing Communications Manager to join our Global Animal Health business based in Ieper / Ypres, Belgium.
It’s a rare opportunity to join a global, growing business in a position which is directly responsible for the development, management and execution of our brand strategy, marketing communication programs and activities. Working daily with senior leadership, marketing and training, you’ll refine our positioning and messaging, will promote the business offerings and help articulate our expertise to our distributors and customers. You’ll have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, great project management skills, and will be experienced in creating a range of communications materials and managing all communications channels. This role has people management responsibility, and you will need to use your leadership abilities and strategic skills to work collaboratively in a matrixed organization.
What you’ll do
Lead positioning strategy and go-to-market communication of value proposition
Lead, manage, develop team of marketing communications associates
Develop pull marketing, leadership and internal communication strategies to drive sales team engagement
Develop all content marketing material to support sales, including new product launches
Plan and execute events, trade shows, and exhibitions
Drive alignment with marketing, regional marketing and sales teams to ensure priorities to drive business growth are clear
Provide the development and guidance of all global marketing communications program material and lead the planning of communication projects, including digital content strategy and management
Develop messaging and creative concepts and deliver content that supports brand strategy
Develop and manage agency relationships
Manage communications budget
What you need to succeed
Bachelors Degree, preferred focus in Communications, Business and/or Marketing or relevant liberal arts degree (English, Economics)
5+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing communications activities, and sales support and recognition programs
Fluent in Dutch, French, and English, written and oral. Knowledge of more languages is a plus.
Proficient with Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
PR, digital and Social media expertise
