Senior Marketing Executive

Responsibilities:

Planning, development and delivery of the annual marketing plan including new product launches, guided by Category Brand Manager;

Executions of approved marketing plans and budgets that is designed to achieve specific brand objectives; including mainstream and ethnic marketing strategy / plans for a given brand for North Asia category;

Monitor and deep analysis of brand’s sales performance and pricing benchmarking competitors’ products;

Liaise with advertising agencies for both creative and media in the process of assisting and executing the development of creative materials and providing feedback in this process, including both English and Chinese copywriting and proof reading to be aligned with respective brands requirement;

Prepare briefing templates to creative, media, event and sampling agencies;

Prepare recipe tasting and recipe fine tuning before briefing sampling agency;

Prepare point of sales material for both mainstream and ethnic marketing activities, e.g. in store sampling, merchandising, event and trade promotion;

Monitor and visit mainstream and ethnic stores to check the off take of the products;

Provide AC Nielsen monthly report to suppliers;

Prepare and present business review for suppliers as and when required;

Identify and organize sponsorship activities for both mainstream and ethnic market that leverage and support marketing strategy;

Track, analyze and report the results of events and marketing campaigns;

Provide regular brand tracking information to monitor market performance, brand performance against KPI’s, budget tracking;

In close co-operation with the Trade Marketing team, identify trade needs / opportunities, develop pricing and distribution strategies in line with trade promotions for brands;

Assist Trade Marketing in relation to Asian Food service channel, e.g. Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant promotion;

Prepare invoices for marketing activities and trade support to claim back from suppliers;

Perform other tasks assigned by the Category Brand Manager as required.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

Australian working rights

FMCG background with at least 2-3 years of product management experience;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) are viewed as highly advantageous but not essential;

Hands on experience in implementing marketing campaigns across both above and below the line channels;

Good analytical, numerical skills and ability to interpret data;

Strong computer skills in all Microsoft applications;

Can-do attitude, results orientated, motivated;

Multi-task, able to prioritize, attention to details;

Team work and a passion to drive quality outcomes.
