Radiometer is growing 8-10% year on year, we are therefore expanding our factories and capacity in our facilities – globally. We are looking for a strong Sr. Project Manager who can drive and implement strategic initiatives and run global projects/programs within Global Operation. In our team, we focus on “changing the business” making sure daily activities and firefighting doesn’t stop the implementation of strategic projects. You will lead projects in both DK and internationally within the areas of capacity increase, optimization, and transfer between production sites. You will have the benefit of using the Danaher Business System LEAN toolbox to run projects and to optimize and improve production processes.
You can expect to build positive relationships with our results-oriented and friendly colleagues locally and at our different sites. It is the responsibility of our new colleague to be the overall project lead for different small and large projects from start to end including planning the project, secure efficient solutions, quality, time, budget, the involvement of all key partners and manage the different sub-projects!
The start of an exciting career track in Radiometer and Danaher
We are growing very fast in China hence a very important market for Radiometer. Your first project will be to take lead on a new China initiative, starting up a new Radiometer factory in Suzhou China. It is a greenfield project running for the next four years starting with a construction project, transfer product- and production knowledge from Denmark to China, and setting up all systems and organization. There will be a huge focus on re-sourcing during the transfer to improve value-adding inside China and secure local sourcing.
You will join a team of strong Project Managers responsible for our project portfolio in Operations.
Responsibilities summed up
- Overall responsible for setting up the new facility in Suzhou, China
- Project management of different Operations projects/programs
- Project compliance with regulatory requirements
- Plan, run, implement and secure sustainment of projects
- Contribute to building the future Ops Program management team
While driving the responsibilities you keep track of budget adherence, quality, timely delivery of projects, and similar project key performance indicators.
Qualifications
We expect that you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Perhaps within Production or Mechanical Engineering, or another degree combined with experience from medical devices/pharma
This combined with most of the following skills and experiences increases your chances of success in the job:
- Strong Project management skills and ability to handle high-level partners
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical device production/pharma especially with regards to the transfer of production from one site to another
- Experience with LEAN or Daily Visual Management
- Strong strategic, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage and lead change
Traveling between 25 to 50 days post-COVID can be expected.
