Job Title Head of Marketing
To lead marketingstrategy and execution to drive business results for the CIBG, IBG and Treasurybusinesses. Core member of MarComs leadership team, and contributor to GroupBrand strategy, Corporate Communications strategy and CSR, from a CIBG/IBGperspective.
Prepare a marketingstrategy for each business line, to drive awareness of capabilities and supportdirect to customer conversations, to increase SOW and new contacts withintarget client groups.
Embed a resultsdriven culture, across all marketing communications activity, to deliver clearROMI of 3:1 and above
Co-own theKnowledge Partnerships programme with the COO team, with a view to increasingthe ROI, delivering more associated marketing assets, and adding value toclients and bankers.
Drive awareness ofour international proposition in key target markets, and support the team topenetrate new target client personas through direct marketing methods.
Develop a clearsocial media strategy and content plan to engage audiences through existingplatforms
Support thebank-wide digital transformation programme, with a particular focus onCIBG/IBG/Treasury specific initiatives, and lead marketing aspects
Role model and leadan agile approach within the CIBG/IBG/T marketing team
Contribute tobank-wide programs on CSR and D&I and advise of any business specificimpact or opportunities to working groups and committees
Lead engagementwith international CEO teams and Ops teams to drive marketing excellence wherethere are no teams in place, and ensure brand guidelines are in place
Embody acustomer-centric approach, understanding and prioritizing the needs of thecustomer in all marketing and communications activity
Lead insight programsreactively as per business need, and proactively to align with market trendsand manage requirements through the insight team within marketing
Own budgets andresults targets for the team, in line with business objectives
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Familiaritywith banking operations, sales and support environments, and strong customerfocus. Entrepreneurial,strong profit orientation and strong leader skill skills 15-20years of substantive related banking experience or exception experience in anothermarketing field, incorporating marketing, analysis and leadershipresponsibilities. Soundknowledge of budgeting, forecasting and analyzing expense for variousactivities Provensuccess in dealing with various external agencies and building relationships. Goodoral and written communication skills in English. Abilityto view “big picture” and align tactical objectives with strategic ones. Abilityto quickly identify and position the business for change, both internally andexternally. Abilityto ensure all activities are conducted in line with the missions/vision,business objectives, and regulatory controls expected by the organization. Stronginterpersonal skills.
