Job Title Manager Trade Marketing
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the presentation of the Reebok brand across all the channels including the distributor
- Driving sustainable and profitable business through adequate Trade Marketing planning and execution at the POS
- Provide input to the development of the overall local go-to-market plan according to channel/account needs
- Align with the local sales team (WHS Teams, WWTW accounts), distributor (Al Futtaim) and Franchise Partners (Apparel Group) in regard to account specific marketing plans and their execution
- Develop and steer implementation of integrated marketing packages for account specific needs through brand marketing activities
- Present account marketing plans to all key players internally and externally
- Analyze and measure campaign effectiveness
- Manage the development of additional account specific sell-in tools (Account Marketing Toolbox)
- Monitor marketing investments and coordinates sales working budget for the sales channels and ensure healthy ROI ratio
- Key contact person for Franchise activation to ensure alignment and best usage of resources
- Coordinate Marketing’s tasks of space management initiatives (Store in Store, VM, trade activations)
- Work with global and markets and distributor to gather information, adhere to approval process and report back on completion of campaigns
- Be the communication window for Global RSM team and consolidate RSM and trade marketing information for EM markets and distributor
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and agencies
- Assist the Sr. Manager Brand Activation and Omni Channel GCC as required on additional projects and activities
KPIs:
- ROI/Net Sales of supported accounts
- Retail Productivity (NS/SQM)
- Full Price Sell thru
- Brand presence and execution (qualitative and quantitative) at POS
- Maximize sell-through
- Roll-out plans excellence
- Meet agreed timelines
Key Relationships:
- Global RSM, Brand Activation, Retail Development and CTC team
- EM Marketing Team (Business Units, CTC, Brand activation) Local Sales (across all channels, primarily retail/franchisee)
- Distributor, WHS and Franchise partners of GCC
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding of Retail business and KPI
- Manager with advanced marketing and sales knowledge/experience across sport and fashion/lifestyle
- Solution oriented personality who understands to balance brand equity/ building a brand and commercial relevance/interest of channels.
- An ability to think outside the box and bring true innovation to the trade marketing environment
- Experience in managing, briefing and assessing creative and production agencies
- Budgeting and financial management skills
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in marketing, sales or retail marketing
- +5 years of overall work experience in Retail or Trade Marketing, preferably in the Sport or fashion industry
- Experience in Account Marketing Management is a plus
- Excellent presentation skills
- IT skills: Outlook and Word: Basic; PowerPoint & Excel: advanced
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Arabic a plus
