A unique .Net Development opportunity has arrived with a likely additional extension to the 12 month contract. This procurement is part of a larger program of work to be released by our client in early 2021 to establish a new Agile Release Train (working under the Scaled Agile Framework). Working as part of a Scrum team within the Agile Release Train, the.NET Developer will play an important role in the delivery of program services by developing and testing applications guided by product owners and scrum masters.

The duties of .Net Developer include, but not limited to:

• Develop and test application solutions to meet business requirements
• Write automated unit tests
• Write automated end to end tests using BDD
• Close liaison with product owners to clarify requirements and receive feedback on solutions
• Identification of improvements to develop practices and coding standards and approaches

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Essential criteria:

• Min. of 5 years software development experience
• Last 5 years developing websites and web applications using .NET, C#, HTML, CSS
• Experience with more recent Microsoft technologies such as App Services, Azure Functions, Blazor and .NET CORE highly desired
• Experience using Dynamics 365 Web API and confident using OData based REST Services
• Experience integrating with SharePoint for document storage
• Microsoft DevOps
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)

• Willingness to share knowledge and experience with more junior developers

Australian citizenship required / Baseline security clearance preferred
