BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH is responsible for activities in the field of renewable energy. We develop, realise, advise on and provide support for projects around the world in the areas of solar, wind and bioenergy. In addition, we offer operations management and plant maintenance as well as wholesale photovoltaic components, energy trading and renewable energy solutions for corporations.

Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Tübingen and are currently looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f/d):

Your tasks

• You promote our international business development strategy in order to achieve our ambitious strategic objectives
• You define new and innovative means of creating customer value by transferring existing business concepts and developing new regional business concepts
• You support the geographical expansion of each Solar Trade entity in the region
• You identify and approach potential acquisition opportunities that align with the regional or local business development strategies
• You support in maintaining relationships with our suppliers and other partners
• You engage with our other Business Entities in the region on collaboration opportunities
• You support the goals of each Solar Trade entity by organizing regional business development forums and activities

Your profile

• You hold a university degree in Engineering, Business, or Economics, or have a similar educational background
• You have at least 5 years of experience in a business development, sales, marketing, or communications role, preferably in the photovoltaic sector
• You have a proven track record of bringing business concepts to life
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong ability to explain complex technical topics
• You are experienced in working in an international and complex organization
• You are business fluent in English and German
• You are technically and digitally inclined
