As Business Operation Manager you will join our Commercial Sales & Marketing Operation Team to enable strategic customer alliances and industry business by managing commercial operational activities within Miltenyi Biotec’ s Global Industry Business environment. In this central role you will be accountable to support and manage the strategic supply agreement This includes contributing to the negotiation process, by coordinating internal activities, processing and implementation of supply agreements, as well as the communication of essential content throughout the organization. Associated, you make sure related content of agreements can be delivered in expected quality to all internal stakeholders and tracking of recurring legally events (forecast maintenance, pricing tiers, supply monitoring, project deadlines etc.) is assured. To provide full transparency your role is accountable to coordinate reporting means on Industry business & account performance. In a strongly expanding industry business environment your look for process optimization potential and manage interfaces to continuously strive for improvement. For this you communicate predominantly to and with Global Business Development, Strategic Account Management, Program Management Industry Business, Marketing and diverse Corporate Business service functions. You want to contribute to our goal of making cancer history. Therefore you hold a Bachelor or higher degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medicine economics or equivalent or a Bachelor or higher degree in business management, or similar field including first experience in one of the mentioned industries (e.g. life science, pharma, biotech, CDMOs, medicine or laboratory technology). You have a good understanding in contract development and commercial legal language. Your business sense is as well developed as your passion for life science or clinical related business models and comprehension of business activities. Beyond, an understanding of marketing and strategic selling of Biotech process development, consumables & medical devices in this field is preferable. You have some experience in business administration, project management and/or sales and key account management. You know how to handle CRM and SAP as well as processing of legal documents. You like to work with Senior Management and communicate on C-Level. Additionally, you enjoy working in an interface position and building new structures and processes. You are an excellent communicator, well organized with a self-starter attitude and very strong oral and written English skills. Moreover you are open to travel 10– 20% worldwide.
